Experts doubt the impact of oral supplements

Studies show that all edible supplements do not contain all the contents mentioned on their packaging.

A group of British experts found that some 30 to 40 percent of these products did not include active ingredients labeled with packaging.

Also, the findings indicate that some oral supplements are basically unaffected or that their benefits are different from what manufacturers claim.

The study looked at the contents of 40 supplements in Switzerland. Thistle Maryam is used as a natural remedy for liver problems.

According to researchers, there are no traces of this herb in some herbal supplements, while in some of them there are particles of leaves of this plant, while only plant seeds contain active particles.

British experts also observed that some food supplements contain alternative herbs that do not have the same properties as they claim.

According to the Telegraph, a study found that the price of the product is not a guarantee of its quality, as it was found in the review of a supplement of ginkgo that there were no plant extracts in the product.
